Description
Cast and machined at Bethlehem, the cable saddles for the famed Varranzano Narrows Bridge came in at a hefty 178 tons each. Each tower on the bridge had four of these saddles. Tower at almost 15 feet each, and almost 20 feet long, they are a huge load, perfect for a heavy duty depressed center flat car.
