Description
This replacement furnace column is a great upgrade to the Walthers Blast Furnace kit to update it from the 1900’s size column (100 ton capacity) included in the kit, to Sparrows Point Furnace E (650 tons estimated).
Kit includes new styrene furnace column, new resin printed furnace top with platform, full set of tuyeres, new bustle pipe.
Modelers note: you are required to trim the roof sections over the furnace house to accommodate the larger diameter of the new furnace column. Kit allows you to reuse all top works parts from Walthers Kit, or pair with our Explosion Doors and change the look of the top of your furnace even more!
