Description
A typical gas washer used in blast furnace operation, as well as other chemical industries. This gas washer is primarily designed to use with the Walthers Blast Furnace kit, as well as scratch building from Steel Mill Modelers Supply Parts, and for use in Chemical Industries.
Inlet and outlet use supplied Walthers down comer parts, or use Steel Mill Modelers Supply elbows, Goggle Valves and Gate Valves in 1/2″ PVC (0.835) diameter.
Kit is supplied with a variety of fittings for the water lines, including 4x 1/8 Tees, 5x 1/8 90 Degree Elbows and 4x 1/8 Gate Valves, so that you can design your own water supply piping to the two washer rings. Tichy Train Group Caged Ladders are supplied with the kit with enough ladder to reach the ground. Concrete base included. The top of the gas washer is a separate part, allowing the modeler to position the outlet at any angle for piping to your electrostatic precipitator in any configuration.
