Description
This unique load is suitable for the Allis-Chalmers 52’6″ Well Car. Hydroelectric Rotors are part of the power generation assembly in a Hydroelectric Dam. Manufactured by Allis-Chalmers, and later Siemens-Allis from the 1960’s through the 1990’s. (I am unfamiliar if Voith also manufactured these after the merger).
Kit comes complete with Rotor body, 6 separate Rotor Arms, 5 crates, 4×6 and 4×8 material for chocking, 0.020″ rod. Modeler must provide Chartpak Tape or suitable substitute for banding.
