Steel Mills often have purpose built rolling stock, often made by the mill themselves. These cars never saw revenue freight service, but were rather relegated to the mill property for internal use. This 200t 8-Axle car is representative of a. car Bethlehem had used for shuffling large ingots between the cast house and the forge.
Kit supplied with car body, span bolsters, 100t National Truck frames, 8x metal 33″ wheel sets, Kadee #5 couplers, draft gearbox covers, Kadee brake wheel, all necessary hardware, large ingot body, and ingot cradles.
Craftsman Kit, Requires painting and assembly.
