Spherical Storage Tanks have been a mainstay at refineries and chemical plants since 1923. Sometimes called a “Hortonsphere” after their inventor, Horace E. Horton. These pressurized storage tanks Spherical tanks are used extensively for LPG and associated gases, such as Propane, Propylene, Butane, and Butadiene. Our model is from a standardized print, and has a capacity of 130,000 gal. The sphere measures 4.5″ in diameter, and has a footprint of roughly 5″ x 5″.

Kit includes Hatch, Spherical Storage Tank, and 1/8″ 90 elbow that can be positioned to connect to your plant piping.
